I pray that life is not painful
I pray that love you will know
for all the gifts that God gave us
love is number one of them all

For the reason that Jesus came here
was to show His love for all mankind
to shed His blood for all the sinful
pray God's forgiveness
for yours and mine

For our precious savior
I am thankful, yet still
the same I am shamed
for the sinful deeds I've done
for those I am to blame

Now here I ask for God's forgiveness
and I thank thee for His love
please continue to lay upon me
your hand Lord, your hand of love

I pray you'll guide me with your wisdom
and I'll never stray away again
for all I yearn for is to make it to
your door and to show the love to others
that you've shown me

God's Treasure

Our Lord loves His people more than anything else He owns
All the silver, diamonds, and gold could never even come close

That's why He sends His rainbow from out of His beautiful sky
to remind us how true His love is and He'll never say good-bye

He's Forever

When Jesus was born upon the land and was cradled in Mary's
arms, the world was blessed in such a way that many never understood
How He shed His blood and prayed for us to make it home someday
to share in His beautiful kingdom He solemnly did pray

So stray away from all your sins and hold tight to Jesus hand
for His way is the only way please try to understand
the message I'm sending to you right now is to
love the Lord with all of your heart and to never forget His love

My first gospel- poem

My love for you Lord
is so true Lord
When I feel blue Lord
I turn to you Lord

I stand before you & adore you
my imperfections, I pray you'll
form to, your way Lord, your way

I am one of many of your children
so sinful and unclean, I pray no
matter how many blemishes in
your eyes I may be seen

For the one thing that I long for in 
this unsure world, is someday
to look into your eyes 
and see you smile back at me

O'Lord,
When the day comes and you open
the book of life, and read to our Father
the names of whom will share your
kingdom, I pray my name is on that list,
for I will finally be home

Plea

I'm not afraid of anything in this world
there's nothing you can throw at me
that I haven't already heard

I've found a decent way to be, a word of 
praise to my Lord, I worship thee
I am getting my life together worshiping
my Lord and learning His word


I've got Jesus by my side every step I
take, in Him is where my fear will lay
but His love comforts me each and everyday


Please get your life together, please believe in Him
Cause without Jesus you are heading to that
lake of fire and there you will stay


I'm standing here begging you I pray 
you'll believe these words I am trying to say
For our time in this world will soon come 
to an end and where will you be my friend?

One Small Step

Sometimes the world seems so dark and cold
surrounded by evil the darkness takes hold.
Our love for money, possessions and greed
makes us forget the one that we need.

But if we take one small step turn to our 
Lord he will show us the light. What we need
is Jesus's faith, love and grace.

This world can shatter our hearts and our dreams,
the way of the devil is so easy it seems.
But if we turn God's way, we'll get to heaven someday.
Please repent of all your sins. The Lord is your sheppard,
He will lead you to Him. It isn't easy but worth every step.

Please ask Jesus into your heart today! He is waiting 
to meet you and say, here I am and with you I'll stay.
We will take it one small step at a time. All you need
is faith, love and grace

GOD IS REAL!

People will do anything not to accept that God is real.
Everywhere you look someone is trying to find a miracle drug or potion of some kind so that humans can live forever. We spend so much time trying to save a planet that is without a doubt going to be no more. We send shuttles into space that will not return taking pictures of the unseen. Scientists try to discredit God everyday by trying to sort out the majesty in which God created all things. Everyone wants to be immortal, living forever in a world without limits. The human race denies the one and only being that makes immortality a reality. God is the giftor of forever and ever yet everyone wants to reject Him.
I call this a true and sad irony.
What a foolish world we live in. I choose life. To live with God and to be immortal for all eternity with the beauty of my creator all around me. God is Love, God is Grace, God is Holy, God is Faithful, and God is real.
How much coffee do we need to smell before we wake up?

IMAGINE

• Imagine what it will be like in heaven
• Imagine sitting next to Jesus as we would with our earthly friends, imagine
• Face to face with God, imagine
• What a wonderful thought
• Imagine singing to God and seeing His face light up because He loves your voice to Him
• Imagine kneeling with Jesus to worship our Father in all His glory, imagine
• Imagine physically feeling Jesus arms around you and hearing Him say I love you
• Imagine walking those golden streets with no fear of what or who is waiting to hurt you around the corner
• Imagine God's glorious light shining all around you forever, imagine
• Imagine laughing with God in all His splendor
• Imagine the vision of children playing in their innocence, no worries, tears or fears ever again
• Imagine eating from the tree of life never to worry where the next meal will come from
• Imagine having meals sitting next to Jesus at our Father's table
• What a glorious vision God has given to those who love and believe in Him
• Ask Jesus into your heart. Love, believe and obey Him and you too can share in this vision
• Please don't wait, ask Him into your heart today

The Joy of The LORD

The joy of the LORD is so hard to explain
heart overflowing with love so full
it almost feels like pain


Sights on high and heavenly things
the beauty of God imagining
the concept of one day seeing His face
makes my heart leap and skip a pace


My human mind don't fully understand
how thoughts of my LORD makes my heart feel


Dumbfounded,amazed and forever in awe
ready to serve at God's beck and call
would fight tooth and nail to protect His good name
yet He calls for humility and not to inflict pain


The joy of the LORD is so hard to explain and makes my heart race
when the day comes that God does permit
my joy will be complete as I tell Him face to face

Ultimate Sacrafice

I lay awake for hours, God is on my mind
a thousand thoughts all scrambled
all are intertwined
thoughts of God oh so great
thoughts of what should have been my fate


We talk about Jesus but do we truly see
the full measure of what He took upon thee?
Close your eyes, can you hear the taunting?
treating Him like he was nothing
Close your eyes, can you feel the pain?
As they slash Him with that whip again


Each time I think of my sin
in my mind I see Him
in my heart I am shamed
I am the reason for His pain


Now He comes to the cross
all that precious blood
because of me He lost
nails and thorns plain to see
pierces Jesus body
it should not be Him, it should be me

Reflections

I looked into the mirror what did I see? 

I saw a stranger looking back at me

Who was this person that I saw? 

Look into the mirror, who do you see??

Look again, who do you see?

Do you like who you be?

I looked into the mirror

didn't like what was there

at the end of my rope

full of despair

I came upon a stranger

Jesus is His name

From the deepest pit i asked

and into my life He came

I look into the mirror, Who do I see?

My reflection has changed drastically

Now I see a person who is growing strong

For I now know to whom I belong

Day by day as Jesus leads, I am becoming

the one who God has called me to be

Praise

I will truly love you

till the day I die

I will give you praise 

hold your name high

I'll sing of your wonders

to everyone I know

count every blessing

all glory to you will go

Jesus you are the one who 

saved my life from shambles

in your name I light my candle

I'll shine your glory

to everyone I see

till I see your face

as I meet you someday

Only The Father knows

when this will occur

until that day when I'll

love you forever

Praise

God is ever before me as I look to the skies I think of His might and majesty to create
The sovereign intelligence of God the Father to create everything and know every
intricate detail of how they all come together in perfect harmony.


Through the simple act of love between a man and wife God creates a child.
Through the breath of His nostrils all has breath to breathe.Through a touch of His hand all diseases are healed.Through His grace we are saved.


I don't pretend to understand the glory and might of God, but I will forever stand in awe of Him who lovingly created me.

When I wonder of what purpose I was born, He lifts my head up high and says" I am your purpose, you are to live for me".


I could not think of a better reason, My God is who I live for each day and because I can never be perfect, into His hands my life I do lay.

To Live in this World

To live in this world and to be at ease is quite a mighty task,
evil,strife and injustices everywhere you look. How does a person ever learn to be at peace?With so many gadgets and gizmos tempting our hearts so we cannot rest.
Time has gone by, we look around at the clutter we now own, But one more thing I still want that exspensive cell phone.


Sun shining,bills are in and now I open to find a number I did not realize.
My temptation is still with me, there is still more that I want, I look around to see old
temptations now unused staring back at me, I start to think how greedy that I've been.
Temptation still there, I still want more, what is wrong with me?

Inside each of us there is a gap that we try so hard to fill, this void belongs to GOD
and things can never satisfy it. 

Come humbly to the LORD and He will fill that gap, He longs for you because He 
loves you, until you stop feeding your temptation it will never cease for only
in GOD do we find true peace

Between God and I

O'LORD,


As I sit here writing poetry of praise and thanks and honor
to your name most High, I am astounded by the beauty in you
I see although I cannot physically see, the joy I feel in my heart 
and soul for you, makes me feel like an eager child opening a gift
Not knowing what's inside, then to find the most amazing gift 
there is to have


O'LORD,


The feeling of great hope that you have bestowed in my heart,
for what is to come for all those who love you.My greatest hope dear Lord
is to someday see your face and forever worship thee, silver and gold
you can keep O'LORD for you are all I need, my heart overflows with 
abundant love for you Father God. You are my treasure. In you is where
my hope remains


My faith dear Lord could be stronger for my past should be my proof
of all the times you brought me through. Accept my confession, make my faith anew!
The peace of God I have inside as I know I'm in your hands, you love me so
and that I know for I'm etched in the palm of your hand


I Love You O'LORD

To Hold A Grudge

To hold a grudge against someone

is harmful to the soul

makes us bitter,makes us mean

till love no longer we know

Of whom does a grudge benefit?

not one on either side, it makes

both uncomfortable and forms

wrinkles they cannot hide

I once held a grudge

only to learn the grudge held me

How do I escape these awful feelings?

someone please help me!

Jesus said; "child give it to me"

and your grudge will let you be

Although I have memories, my

grudge it did flee, now in it's place

is forgiveness you see

Since forgiveness has took it's place

love is returning to my soul
